British YouTuber, influencer, musician, businessman and boxer KSI has just starred in one of his biggest embarrassments in the entertainment world. After announcing with all pomp who would face the controversial Dillon Danis, who is a friend de Conor McGregor, in a boxing match at 'Misfits Boxing 29', the YouTuber pulled out of the fight just a week before the event, scheduled to take place on March 29 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England.
The reason for KSI's withdrawal was reportedly a 'mysterious illness' - which looks like a bad cold or a sinus infection - that weakened the influencer. In a video posted on his official 'X' account, he spoke about the case and apologized to fans.

“I tried my best but my body just gave up. I’m currently in bed on antibiotics just trying to recover but I’m struggling, I’m coughing up greenish yellow s*** all the time. My sinuses are hurting to the point where I need ibuprofen every day. The tension headaches I’m having here are more painful than you can imagine. I’m on Sudafed daily,” KSI said. (watch below)

Danis responded quickly, and in a hilarious way, insinuating that his rival ran away in fear of the fight. (check below). Despite his stance, the friend of Conor McGregor will likely regret the loss of his salary against KSI.

Angry fans on social media are demanding 'ticket sales data', which includes the number of tickets purchased and the amount of revenue generated.
With the KSI vs. Danis fight announced as the headliner, the entire 'Misfits Boxing 29' pay-per-view card has been postponed, with a new date and location expected to be announced later next week.
Postponed again

This isn't the first time the two have had a fight postponed. Dillon and KSI were originally scheduled to meet at Misfits Boxing 4 in January 2023 before Danis pulled out of the fight a week early. Misfits promoter Mams Taylor believed the scratch was due to Danis being "unprepared." The former Bellator fighter made his Misfits debut nine months later against Logan Paul, the brother of Jake Paul. Before the fight, Dillon trained with the UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg), Alex Poatán.
