In an interview with UFC Brazil, Prates highlighted that Neal is a dangerous opponent, with knockout power, and that, as he is also left-handed, this makes the fight even more challenging. Despite this, he is excited to return to the octagon and compete in the most important duel of his career.

"Geoff neal He's a tough guy, he has a heavy hand and he's left-handed. So, the fight is a little more difficult, more intense, because I'm also left-handed, and it's always complicated to face another left-hander. But it's going to be a great fight! I'm looking forward to stepping into the octagon, feeling the energy again and, on top of that, facing an opponent who's better ranked than me. He's ranked tenth, so this fight is very important to me," said Prates.
