An unusual fact caught everyone's attention at the end of the fight. The congo sounded seven seconds before the end of the third round. At least, on the broadcast clocks and next to the octagon. The TV timer is not the same as the official timekeeper and a desynchronization is possible.
The unusual event was commented on in the live broadcast to Brazil. The fight was commented on by Demian Maia e Rodrigo Minotauro. One of them asked: 'what happened there?'. To which the narrator André Azevedo replied 'the fight is over'. And the team came to the immediate conclusion that the clocks were not synchronized.
In the North American broadcast, the team was more acidic. For ESPN in the United States, Joe Rogando immediately said 'Wow, that was five seconds early.' Jon Anik replied 'Yes, it seems that perhaps the commission has seen enough.'Rogan laughed.
