Carlos Leal was overwhelming at UFC 313 , at T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas. The Brazilian needed no more than one round to destroy Alex Morono in devastating sequences of blows. The Curitiba native achieved his first UFC victory this Saturday (8).

With the victory, Carlos Leal reaches his 22nd career win. The Brazilian's record stands at six losses.

Alex Morono suffered his 12th career loss. He has 24 wins and one no contest.

Hot fight favored the Brazilian's exchange

The fight started intensely. The distances closed quickly, and the fighters traded blows. Morono attempted a spinning kick that missed. Leal grabbed his opponent and landed a knee strike during the clinch . When they separated, the Brazilian connected with good jabs and straight punches. Carlos Leal managed to push his opponent against the cage, who felt the impact after a good combination. The American insisted on getting back into the fight, but again Leal took him to the cage and landed many good strikes. It was only a matter of time before the knockout was achieved. After many blows, the referee stopped the fight at four minutes and 16 seconds of the first round.
