Alexander Volkanovsky e Diego lopes will decide a new featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg) in the UFC 314, after the former category champion Ilia Topuria having vacated the belt to move up to the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg). This Friday (7), during the promotional press conference for the event, the two title contenders came face to face for the first time. However, there was no bad face. On the contrary, there was a lot of good humor, including music.

At Friday's event in Las Vegas, the Australian took to the microphone to taunt his rival Diego lopes because of his haircut, which makes him look like the lead singer of a mid-2000s emo band. But perhaps the most unusual moment was when he broke out in the famous meme anthem of 'Secondhand Serenade', 'Fall For You'. The duo laughed at the idea, while the Las Vegas crowd and other fighters on stage seemed to enjoy the performance. (see below)

It didn't take long for fans to praise the former featherweight champion's performance on social media.
'Volk could have a second career', wrote one, while another added that the UFC legend 'can sing emo, cook and fight'.
The first look
Although the Australian mocked the Mexican-based Brazilian's hair, there were more smiles than resentments when they faced off. Volkanovski ripped off his shirt while Lopes kept his cowboy attire. The two shook hands before going their separate ways. (see below)

Legendary former featherweight champion Volkanovski is looking to make another run at the belt after losing his title to Ilia Topuria brutally last year. The defeat came after he failed in two attempts at lightweight gold against the division's record holder and champion Islam makhachev. Already Diego lopes is on a great rise, with five consecutive victories in the UFC.
