Paul's response came via social media. In a post on X, he insulted Mayweather and predicted that he would need less than two rounds to knock out the boxing legend.

“You’re useless. Deji gave you a black eye at an event with 4.000 people. Deji hahahah. I would knock you out in 2 rounds and you can’t even smell Mike Tyson ’s big toe ,” wrote Jake Paul.

Jake Paul , an influencer turned professional boxer, is coming off a successful fight against former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson . Although his decision victory over the 58-year-old veteran was widely criticized, the event was streamed live on Netflix and broke viewership records.

However, these numbers mean nothing to Mayweather, one of the biggest names in combat sports history.

“I don’t really know how to approach this subject because if I say something, I’m going to get criticism. No matter what I say, it’s not going to be well received. Well, basically, when you watch boxing for free, you can get millions and millions and millions, hundreds of millions of views, but when you watch Floyd Mayweather, you have to pay. I’ve done pay-per-view numbers. Check out the records,” said the former champion.

Floyd Mayweather and the Paul brothers have a long history of rivalry. In 2021, Mayweather faced Jake's brother Logan Paul in an eight-round exhibition fight. During the press conference to promote the event, Jake stole Mayweather's hat, nearly causing a brawl.
