Jean Silva provokes 'conspiracy theorist' Bryce Mitchell: 'Knock until you see the Earth round'

Minutes after brutally knocked out Melsik Baghdasaryan on the main card of UFC Seattle, last Saturday (22), Jean Silva has already set its sights on a new target: the controversial Bryce mitchell, who has already given a positive signal for the duel. Now, the tendency is for the provocations between the two to become increasingly constant, at least as far as the Brazilian's will is concerned.

After the American answered the challenge, promising to 'beat' Jean, the Brazilian did not leave him without answers. 'Lord' responded to Mitchell's post on the social network 'X' (formerly Twitter), mentioning his rival's belief in the 'flat Earth' theory.

“Okay, okay, but I’m going to beat you until you see that the Earth is round,” Jean wrote.

Target of Jean Silva, Bryce mitchell is known for his controversial beliefs and speeches outside the octagon. In addition to believing in a flat Earth, the American has spoken out against vaccination, against schools and, in the most recent controversy, praised Adolf Hitler.

If confirmed, a fight against Bryce mitchell could be the opportunity to Jean Silva, undefeated in the UFC with four knockouts in four fights, finally appears in the featherweight rankings (up to 65,7 kg), as the North American is ranked 13th in the category.
