The fight began with Melsik landing the first kick in the fight. Circling around, not allowing himself to be cornered, Jean studied the best distance to surprise his opponent. After feints, Lord threw a high kick, which was stopped by the Armenian's guard. With great respect, the fighters looked for opportunities to connect punches and kicks. In the center of the octagon, Jean threw a spinning kick and managed to dodge the counterattack launched by his opponent at the exact moment. Confident, the Brazilian began to mix up the height of his blows and provoked as he walked forward. With a powerful right, Silva threw Melsik to the ground, waited for the referee to stop the fight and after the referee decided to let the fight continue, the Fighting Nerds representative applied a brutal sequence to end the fight.

The fight that opened the main card among the light heavyweights (up to 93kg.) Alonzo Menifield and Julius Walker started off a little timidly, with an 'endless' clinch that generated boos from the audience. But then, the two fighters turned on monster mode and what we saw was a violent exchange, with Walker even throwing a 'vacuum kick' that left him on his butt. But Menifield was slow and couldn't take advantage of his opponent's hesitation.
In the second round, 'monster mode' turned into 'zombie mode', with both fighters slower and saving their explosive blows. In this model, Menifield and Walker starred in the first fight of the night to go to the third round. And, with both out of gas, the decision ended up in the hands of the judges, who gave the victory to Menifield by split decision (29-28, 30-27, 28-29).
