A video published this Wednesday (19) of Alex Poatán in training with former Bellator Dillon Danis had a big impact on the 'X' (old Twitter). The light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.) is just over two weeks away to defend the belt against Magomed Ankalev, at UFC313, on March 8, in Las Vegas (USA).

American Dillon Danis recently signed with the Global Fight League, GFL. Previously, he competed in Bellator's welterweight division (up to 77,1 lbs.). Danis is also a boxer in his 'spare time' and was scheduled to fight KSI, but pulled out due to lack of preparation.

The striking training – Poatan’s specialty – shown in the images generated controversy among fans. As soon as the profile 'Championship Rounds' posted the video, many questioned the strategy on the eve of the Brazilian's important fight against the number one in the ranking. One of the users wrote: 'why waste time with Dillion?!'.

Another made fun of the meeting, using an analogy with the world of games: 'Dude, this is the secondary mission you skip'.

One of the profiles that responded to the post, 'Conor Mcnigher' was bolder and threw all his favoritism towards Poatan's opponent after seeing the images. The post was 'Congratulations on becoming light heavyweight champion, Ankalaev'.
