Belal Muhammad | is daydreaming about winning his second UFC belt. Since becoming the welterweight champion (up to 77kg), the Palestinian American has made no secret of his desire to test himself at middleweight (up to 83,9kg). Now, after the performance of Dricus Du Plessis No. UFC 312, Belal's confidence is higher than ever.
In a post on 'X', Belal detailed exactly how he would defeat Du Plessis. In the version imagined by the welterweight champion, the fight would last three rounds until he knocked out the South African and became the new UFC double champion.
“I would start with a 1-2, then he would try an overhand punch, I would dodge, change levels and take him down. He would try to get out but would be too weak to get up, so I would pound him on the ground until the end of the first round. At the start of the second, I would come out with a flying knee, he would defend, and I would take him down with a back grab, then point and laugh at him (this would make him mad). He would get up and come up with punches, but I would easily dodge and catch him with a 1-2. He would get frustrated and try a takedown, I would easily defend, but by now he would be tired and go to his knees. I would kick him in the body while he was down. The third would start and he would be desperate, he couldn’t hit me or take me down, so he would try a spinning back. I would move away at the right moment and end up taking his back. He would give me the chin in frustration, and then I would put him to sleep… And new double champion,” he wrote. Belal Muhammad |.
I'd come out him with a 1-2 then he'd wing an overhand I'll duck it change levels and take him down then he'd shrimp and get the underhook to get out but he'll be to weak to get up so then I'll hit him with ground and pound for the rest of round 1. Round 2 starts and I come out… https://t.co/vL07RWaPKT

Before he gets the chance to make that scenario a reality, Muhammad has work to do in his current division. 'Remember the Name' has yet to defend his belt since the took from Leon Edwards, last July, due to a bone infection that canceled his planned fight against the undefeated contender Shavkat Rakhmonov, two months ago.
