Jake Paul e Canelo Alvarez placeholder image were set to face off in a blockbuster boxing match later this year. But in the final stages of negotiations, Alvarez pulled out of fight talks with the YouTuber after signing a lucrative agreement of four fights with Turki Alalshikh and Riyadh Season. Since his plans were foiled, the 'Problem Boy' has been attacking the boxer and his team relentlessly. He even an agreement was leaked signed and questioned Alvarez's business integrity after withdrawing from the proposed fight.

While Jake Paul awaits other opponents upon his return, a UFC Hall of Famer criticized his behavior after fight negotiations fell through. Michael Bisping came out in defense of Canelo Alvarez placeholder image amid constant attacks from the YouTuber and did not mince words. During a recent video posted on his YouTube channel, the former UFC fighter did not hold back, calling Paul an idiot.
"Jake Paul is back making a fool of himself. Calling Canelo Alvarez placeholder image, making videos, dancing around with a sombrero and no shirt. Showing no respect and saying that Canelo Alvarez placeholder image is dodging him and showing him contracts and apparently they were all signed to fight but then he gets scared and goes to Saudi Arabia and sells his soul and everything else. Shut up, Jake Paul,” Bisping said.

“I am very happy that Canelo Alvarez placeholder image will not be decorating the ring, stepping into the ring with that impostor, with that fake, with that wannabe. Jake Paul He's been a tremendous businessman, okay? He's not a fighter," he concluded.
This isn't the first time Bisping has criticized 'Problem Boy' during his boxing career. After Bisping and Paul were briefly linked to a fight, the veteran repeatedly downplayed the YouTuber's accomplishments and disparaged the polarizing boxer.

UFC President Dana White 'trolled' Paul during UFC's post-fight press conference UFC 312 when asked about his reaction to Alalshikh luring Alvarez away from fight negotiations. Paul has had several feuds with UFC personalities during his boxing career and has fought some legends in the organization.
Paul and the 'Most Valuable Promotions' are turning their attention to 'high-profile opponents' for Paul's next fights. A rematch with Tommy Fury is possible after Fury handed Paul his first career defeat in 2023.
