Video: Alexander Volkanovski gets confused in the corner and creates hilarious moment at UFC 312

Alexander Volkanovsky was again on the opposite side of the octagon against Ilia Topuria No. UFC 312. The Australian was in Colby Thickness' corner, while the featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) helped his brother Aleksandre. Although his pupil lost the fight, the former champion stole the show with one of the most hilarious moments of the night.

In a video posted by the Happy Punch page on 'X', Volkanovski was giving instructions to Thickness, but apparently forgot that he wasn't the one fighting. In a funny move, he almost drank his athlete's water while staring at his rival from the other side of the cage.

Despite the momentum created by Alexander Volkanovsky to have gotten a good laugh from the fans, was Alexander Topuria who left the octagon happiest last Saturday night (8). Ilia's older brother dominated his opponent for three rounds and had his arm raised by unanimous decision. The Spaniard now has six wins and only one loss in his career.
