It's time for guesses SUPER FIGHTS! This Saturday (8), Ultimate returns to Australia with two belt disputes in UFC 312. In the main fight, the middleweight champion, Dricus du Plessis, defends the title in a rematch against Sean Strickland. In the co-main event, Zhang Weili defends her women's strawweight (up to 52,1 kg) title against undefeated challenger Tatiana Suarez placeholder image.

Du Plessis and Strickland faced each other for the first time in the UFC 297, in January 2024. After an intense duel, the South African won the middleweight title with a split decision victory. Since then, the champion has consolidated his dominance in the category by winning Israel adesanya No. UFC 305, and now seeks to defend his position for the second time. Strickland, on the other hand, secured revenge by overcoming Paulo borrachinha No. UFC 302, and now wants to get the belt back on its shelf again.

In the women's title fight, Zhang makes her third belt defense. The Chinese fighter won Amanda lemos and the compatriot yan xiaonan by unanimous decision in her last fights. Tatiana, on the other hand, has never lost in her career. Currently ranked 1st in the category, the American has beaten all ten opponents she has faced along the way.

Brazil in the octagon

Heavy hair (up to 120,2 kg), Tallison Teixeira will finally make his long-awaited debut in the organization against the New Zealander justin tafa, on the main card. The Bahian from Vitória da Conquista has an undefeated record of seven wins (six by knockout).

Also on the main card, Rodolfo Bellato returns to the octagon after more than a year of inactivity due to a series of injuries. To maintain his undefeated record in the Ultimate, the São Paulo light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) athlete will face the Australian Jimmy crute, which will have the support of the local fans.

After a difficult start in the organization, with two consecutive defeats, Gabriel Mosquitinho recovered by beating China's Yizha by unanimous decision. To continue with positive results, the featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) from Ceará needs to beat the Australian Jack Jenkins, who has suffered just one defeat in four UFC appearances.

The predictions will be made by the SUPER LUTAS team. At the end of the 2025 season, whoever gets the most points will be the team's 'best bettor'.

The scoring system is simple. Whoever guesses the winner gets one point. Whoever predicts the outcome gets three points, and if the bettor predicts the positive result exactly (e.g. knockout in R1, submission in R3, decision by points), the bettor gets five points.
