Alexandre Pantoja's victim breaks silence and remains confident after UFC 310 loss

Kai Asakura did not have the debut he expected in UFC 310, held last Saturday (7) in Las Vegas. The former RIZIN champion even showed danger in the first seconds of the fight, but was soon dominated and finished by Alexandre Pantoja. Despite the defeat, the Japanese fighter says he is not discouraged about his dreams of becoming champion of the biggest MMA organization in the world.

Through his Instagram, the title challenger apologized to his fans and thanked them for their support. In the text published alongside a photo of himself greeting the crowd next to the octagon, Asakura reinforced that he always comes back after his defeats and assured that he will come back stronger.

The setback for Alexandre pantoja was the fifth in Asakura's career, who has a resume with 21 victories. Despite the defeat to the Brazilian, the Japanese debuted in the flyweight division rankings (up to 56,7 kg) of the UFC, occupying the 14th position.
