The new provocation caught the attention of Jon Jones, which did not leave the basketball player without an answer. In a comment on social media, the UFC heavyweight champion mocked Johnson, stating that the athlete was showing symptoms of CTE, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a disease developed from repeated head or skull injuries and common in fighters, also known as pugilistic dementia.
“I didn’t realize until now that basketball players also suffer from CTE. This guy sounds crazy,” Bones replied.
