“I’m going to film the movie there for six weeks. I’m going to act, but I like to do something that doesn’t require me to speak. This is going to be a movie where I won’t speak. It’s going to be like Terminator, where the guy only says one word at the end. I’m going to do the whole movie without speaking, I’m going to be there from beginning to end and at the end I’m going to say, ‘Flame’,” declared the champion.
The phrase, which has become one of Poatan's most famous catchphrases, promises to echo in cinemas, as well as in the octagons. The character, nicknamed 'The Butcher', promises to be a worthy antagonist.
As he prepares for his big screen debut, Poatan has an indefinite return to the UFC octagon. The light heavyweight champion could face names such as Magomed Ankalayev or even a bold move up to heavyweight, with a possible fight in front of Tom aspinall.
