Belal Muhammad | shared on his social media shocking images of the injury that kept him out of his first welterweight (up to 77kg) belt defense. UFC 310, an event that takes place on December 7th. In the photos, it is possible to see a swollen toe with an abscess. In another image, the area still appears swollen and with stitches.

The infection, located in the bony region of his left foot, made it impossible for Muhammad to defend his belt against Shavkat Rakhmonov. The fight, scheduled for December 8 in Las Vegas, would mark Belal's return to the octagon for the first time since overcoming Leon edwards in July of this year and reach the top of the welterweight division.
