The October calendar in MMA came to an end last Saturday (26) with the star-studded UFC 308 , but not before delivering to mixed martial arts fans a show of memorable finishes in the Ultimate octagon.
With that in mind, the SUPER LUTAS team got together to choose the three best submissions of the tenth month of the year. Here's the list:

3) Abus Magomedov x Brunno Hulk – UFC 308
Opening our ranking of the best submissions of October, a bad memory for Brazilians. On the preliminary card of UFC 308 , the last event of the month, Brunno Hulk had good moments and came close to knocking out Abus Magomedov at one point, but ended up being submitted by a katagatame from the Russian-born German.
2) Clayton Carpenter x Lucas Rocha – UFC Las Vegas 98
The top spot on the podium couldn't have belonged to anyone else. In the highly anticipated co-main event of UFC 308 , Khamzat Chimaev made short work of Robert Whittaker , not only submitting the Australian with a rear-naked choke, but also deforming his opponent's entire dental arch with the sheer pressure of the submission.
