The October MMA calendar came to an end last Saturday (26) with the star-studded UFC 308, but not before giving mixed martial arts fans a show of memorable finishes in the Ultimate octagon.

With that in mind, the team at SUPER FIGHTS got together to choose the three best finishes of the tenth month of the year. Here's the list:

3) Abus Magomedov x Brunno Hulk – UFC 308

Opening our ranking of the best finishes of October, a bad memory for Brazilians. In the preliminary card of UFC 308, last event of the month, Bruno Hulk had good moments and came close to knocking out Abus Magomedov at a certain point, but ended up being finished by a katagatame from the Russian naturalized German.

2) Clayton Carpenter x Lucas Rocha – UFC Las Vegas 98

The highest place on the podium could not have had any other owner. In the highly anticipated co-main event of the UFC 308, Khamzat Shimaev took no notice of Robert whittaker and not only did he finish the Australian with a rear naked choke, he also deformed his rival's entire dental arch, such was the pressure in the finish.
