After a stellar visit to Abu Dhabi last Saturday (26), Ultimate lands this time in Canada for the UFC Edmonton, this Saturday (2). In the main fight of the event, the former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno returns to the octagon about seven months after announcing a career break and faces the Iraqi amir albazi, in a duel that could lead the winner to a title fight against the winner of the fight between Alexandre pantoja e Kai Asakura.
In the co-main event, another duel with direct implications for the belt. In the women's flyweight (up to 56,7 kg), the third-placed fighter in the ranking Erin Blanchfield faces the former strawweight champion (up to 52,1 kg) Rose namajunas in a five-round fight that should put the winner right behind Manon Fiorot in line for a title fight in the category.
