Besides knock out Khalil Rountree Jr.. and defend the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg.) for the third time in UFC 307, Alex Poatán will also leave Salt Lake City with a fuller wallet. After four rounds of intense emotions, both fighters were awarded the 'Fight of the Night' bonus. In this way, both will receive US$ 50 thousand (approximately R$ 272 thousand at the current rate) more in their purses.

The information was announced by Dana White at the press conference after the event. The two were not the only ones to earn the bonus. Joaquin buckley, who knocked out Stephen Thompson in the third round, and Ryan Span, winner against Ovince St-Preux with a guillotine in the first round also received the same amount. The athletes, who appeared in the preliminary card, were awarded the 'Performance of the Night' bonus.
