José Aldo dreamed of a new chance at the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2 kg) and only victory mattered in UFC 307. However, in the fight this Saturday (5), the Brazilian suffered with the strategy of mario bautista next to the fence and ended up defeated by a split decision. The fight took place in Salt Lake City, in the United States.

Bautista started off strong and pressed Aldo against the fence. However, he chose not to trade punches for long and tried to take the former champion down or just score points. When the fight returned to the center of the octagon, both fighters bet on their hands and the exchange became open. In the end, Mario tried a high kick, which allowed the Brazilian to dodge it beautifully.
The first exchange of blows made mario bautista to have a bleeding face, followed by a brutal knee strike from José Aldo. The American, despite the impact, resisted at first and tried to respond by pressing. The former champion's movement, however, spoke louder.
At a loss, the promising fighter went to the fence once again and ended up being booed. With the quality that serves him in defending takedowns, the 'King of Rio' got back on his feet, but it wasn't long before his rival did the same thing.
The strategy was outlined and mario bautista followed suit. Without exchanging blows while standing, the American adopted a strategy of trying to takedown, which led to him being booed a lot by the audience present at Delta Center.
