The fight began with a study between the two athletes, with exchanges of kicks and attempted takedowns. However, the fight took an unexpected turn when Pimblett, with his well-known submission skills, managed to land a perfect triangle on Green. The North American tried to resist, but couldn't resist the pressure and went out.

With this result, Pimblett approaches the top 15 in the lightweight division and should gain even more prominence on the MMA scene. At the end of the fight, the Englishman challenged Renato Moicano for a future confrontation.
