Inserted in the main fight, the lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) fought against Dustin poirier and defended the category belt. The athlete, together with his rival, earned the desired US$50 thousand (around R$254 thousand). Kevin holland closed the list by overwhelming victory.

Looking to expand his legacy in MMA, Islam accomplished his mission in style. In addition to remaining at the top of the lightweight division, the Russian took third place among athletes with the longest winning streaks in UFC history, with 13.

In his third attempt to take over the throne of the under-70,3kg category, Poirier showed heart, but was once again surpassed. The athlete, however, presented a great challenge to the Russian star and was rewarded for his performance.

Inserted on the main card, Kevin holland also shone. The athlete took on the challenge at middleweight (up to 83,9kg) and finished Michal Oleksiejczuk in the first round.
