Jamahal Hill's rival announces his departure from the fight and the former champion is left without an opponent for UFC 303

On his Instagram, Khalil Rountree Jr announced that he used a prohibited substance unintentionally and therefore will not be able to perform on June 29

Former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), Jamahal hill has just seen his quick return to the octagon in check after the knockout suffered to Alex Poatán No. UFC 300. Initially scheduled to face Khalil rountree Jr on June 29th, 'Sweet Dreams' saw his rival announce that he is out of the fight due to the unintentional use of a substance banned by the Anti-Doping Agency.

“I look forward to breaking this news to all of you, but I will not fight in UFC 303 due to the consumption of a prohibited substance. I did not do this intentionally and I am doing everything I can to resolve this situation. I was using a personalized, personalized supplement service from a company I trusted, who understood my limitations in what I can and cannot take,” Rountree said in part of the statement.

Hill and Rountree would measure forces in the UFC 303, scheduled for June 29th, in Las Vegas (USA). The organization has not yet officially commented, however, it is believed that Ultimate will look for another rival for the former light heavyweight champion.
