One of the most bizarre moments of the 2024 season marked the afternoon of Friday (17) at Bellator Paris. Jaleel Willis made an epic fall when he tried to land a blow on Cédric Doumbé. The comical scene, which brought laughter from the audience and from the opponent himself, did not overshadow the dominant performance of the Frenchman, who brutally knocked out the North American in the first round.

The most memorable moment, however, came after a searing right hand from Willis. The North American attacked with a right to reverse the situation, but fell flat on his face.

The scene of Willis falling was worthy of an instant meme. The fighter, completely disoriented, fell face down on the ground, generating laughter among those present. In the scene, it is possible to see the basketball player, Victor Wembanyama, clearly surprised by what happened.

Doumbé, however, was in his day. The fight, valid for the welterweight division, already demonstrated superiority from the first seconds. Jaleel, known for his aggressive style, tried to impose himself with high kicks, but he came up against the Frenchman's defensive mastery and ended up being knocked out in the first round.
