One of the athletes with the longest time wearing the organization's gloves, the Brazilian Edson Barboza surprised by revealing a 'bold' dream for the future. On the 'media day' of UFC Las Vegas 92, which takes place next Saturday (18), the featherweight athlete (up to 65,7kg) campaigned to fight for the 'BMF' belt (more thick-skinned) against the Hawaiian Max Holloway.

“If one guy deserves to fight for the 'BMF' title, it's me. Who has more knockout highlights than me? Brother, imagine. I love him Max Holloway, he is one of my favorite fighters in history. I love watching him fight, and he's a really cool guy, family. Imagine a fight against him for the BMF belt. It will be very, very good for me, for him and for the organization. Like I said, I have 30 fights in the UFC. I think I deserve this. Of course, my focus is 100% on this next fight, but I think it would be amazing. I love him, it will be a pleasure to share the octagon with him (Max Holloway)”, said Edson.
Riding on two consecutive victories, one of them after an incredible comeback against Sodiq Yusuf, Edson goes up to the Apex octagon for the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 92. The Brazilian veteran's opponent will be the undefeated Lerony Murphy, who dreams of a place in the top-15 of the featherweight division.
