UFC 304 is confirmed with Leon Edwards and Tom Aspinall defending belts in England

UFC's return to Manchester will feature Leon Edwards x Belal Muhammad and Tom Aspinall x Curtis Blaydes as main attractions

What was expected became reality. In the early afternoon of this Thursday (16), Dana White used social media to officially announce UFC 304, an event that marks the organization's return to Manchester, England, on July 27, with two title fights.

In the main fight of UFC 304, Leon edwards seeks the third defense of the welterweight belt (up to 77,1 kg) in a rematch against Belal Muhammad |. The two faced each other for the first time in March 2021 in a duel that ended without result after Edwards accidentally poked Muhammad in the eye at the beginning of the second round. Both athletes have had 100% success in the Octagon since then.

In the co-main fight, Tom aspinall defends the interim heavyweight belt (up to 120,2 kg) for the first time, also in a rematch against Curtis blaydes, responsible for his only defeat in the octagon. The two faced each other in July 2022, when Aspinall suffered a serious knee injury just 15 seconds into the fight.

The title fights weren't the only ones announced by Dana White for UFC 304. In the lightweight category (up to 70,3 kg) the star Paddy Pimblett face the veteran Bobby Green with an eye on a place in the category ranking.


In flyweight (up to 56,7 kg), Muhammad Mokayev e Manel kape can finally resolve their differences in a duel that could define the next challenger for the belt. Alexandre pantoja.
