The apotheotic victory achieved by Max Holloway about Justin gaethje in the BMF belt dispute in UFC 300, an event held last Saturday (13), was memorable, but it wasn't the only one in UFC history to happen in the last second of a fight.

Before Hawaiian, names like Leon edwards, Yair Rodriguez, B.J. Penn, Demetrious Johnson and others had already experienced the feeling of victory in the last second or two of fights in the Ultimate Octagon.

Last Thursday (18), the UFC published, on its official YouTube channel, a compilation of around ten minutes with the main victories achieved by fighters in the final stretch of duels in the octagon, both through knockouts and submissions.

The only Brazilian who appears in the video was on the bad side of the knockout. Raphael Assunção was knocked out by the former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg) cody garbrandt in the last second of the second round and fell unconscious simultaneously with the ringing of the bell to end the round.
