Amid great doubts whether Arman Tsarukyan 'blacked out' during a submission attempt made by Charles of the Bronx, the Armenian released a video (see below) in which he trained the same defense movement performed in UFC 300. In the publication it is possible to see that the athlete releases his muscles to withstand the pressure applied to the hand triangle, just as the image of the body was captured during the fight.
At the time, the question was raised about the athlete's possible blackout during the Brazilian's action in strangling him. According to Tsarukyan, the judge who saw Do Bronx's victory in the third round asked for forgiveness for the mistake in granting the round to his opponent. Relieved, Arman stated that he would have been able to kill the professional if his career had been ruined by 'error'.
Attentive to the publication, many fans reacted positively to the Armenian's explanation, which was intended to end any controversy about why his body had relaxed.

Victorious in the judges' split decision, Arman Tsarukyan reached first place in the lightweight rankings (up to 70,3kg). In a great fight presented to the fans, the fighter overcame the biggest challenge of his career to date and now expects to become the next challenger for the category title.
