Jon Jones reacts to Alex Poatan's impressive victory at UFC 300 and sends a message to the Brazilian

Light heavyweight champion shows excitement after devastating knockout over the weekend

Brazilian MMA star, Alex Poatán continues to reap the fruits of the impressive victory against Jamahal hill No. UFC 300. After defending the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg) with a brutal knockout, the Brazilian received recognition from Jon Jones, legend of the sport and current holder of the linear heavyweight title (up to 120,2kg.) in the company.

“My goodness,” Jones wrote on his profile on 'X', old 'Twitter', with text accompanied by the Brazilian flag.

Last weekend, Poatan stepped into the Octagon for the first time as light heavyweight champion. Seeking his first title defense, the athlete needed just over three minutes to brutalize Jamahal hill.

After the feat, Alex reinforced his desire to perform at the UFC 301, which takes place on May 4, in Brazil. So far, there is no confirmation on Ultimate's position in responding to the champion's request.
