One of the highlights of the historic card of UFC 300, Max Holloway will face the current owner of the 'BMF' belt (more thick-skinned) Justin gaethje. In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) made an interesting request by suggesting that former fighter Mark Coleman, who recently survived a fire, award the title to the winner of the confrontation.

“The only correct answer (to hand over the belt) is Mark Coleman. Especially with what he's been through recently with his dog and his dog waking up to go save his stuff and he goes there and runs to save his dog? The guy is f***. This is a real life BMF. That would be awesome if he did that. It would be an honor to witness that,” Holloway said.

Last March, Coleman went through a delicate moment in his personal life. When trying to save his parents and his dog from a house fire, the former fighter inhaled a lot of smoke, was rescued by the fire department and had to be hospitalized for a few days.

Mark Coleman was UFC heavyweight champion in 1996. The American had his last professional fight in 2010 and hung up his gloves with a record of 16 wins and 10 losses, with victories over big names like Mauritius Shogun, Don Frye and Stephan bonnar. Today, 'The Hammer' is 59 years old and lives in the city of Toledo, Ohio (USA).
