UFC star reveals interest in testing himself against digital influencer in the 'noble art'

Without competing in the UFC for almost three years, Conor McGregor admitted interest in participating in 'celebrity challenges'. In an interview with 'SneekPeakTV', the MMA star revealed that he intends to test himself in boxing against 'KSI', youtuber and Executive Director of 'Misfits Boxing'. The Irishman has not competed in martial arts since the serious injury he suffered in Ultimate in 2021.

“Your uncle needs a radiator in his house. So, you do a side job and get side pay. (…) If I could choose one of them, I would face KSI, who is a big name in the United Kingdom. (…) I am open to possibilities. I never say 'no',” said McGregor.

The greatest popularity phenomenon in the history of MMA, Conor doesn't just intend to face digital influencers in boxing. Recently, in addition to admitting to returning to the UFC in 2024, the 'Notório' reinforced his dream of testing himself against Manny Pacquiao, former world champion in the 'noble art'.

Close to turning 36, McGregor has experienced real drama in his sporting career in recent seasons. In 2021, when he was fighting a trilogy against Dustin poirier, the Irishman ended up suffering a serious ankle fracture, being forced to interrupt his career to dedicate himself to the recovery process.
