The long-awaited debut of Michael Page in the UFC octagon was a success, with a victory over Kevin holland which guaranteed the Brit a place in the top 15 welterweights (up to 77,1 kg). The Brit, however, is still not satisfied and has already relatively planned the next step in the organization.
In an interview with 'CBS Sports' this Thursday (13), Michael Page pointed out a return to the Octagon for July, the month in which Ultimate plans an event in England, its home country, more precisely in Manchester.

“I'm completely fine. Everyone always has some bruises, but nothing major. There are talks about me returning at the England event in Manchester. It will be in July, I believe. I think that's enough time for me to come back. Obviously I still need to find an opponent. I need to go back and talk to my coaches. (…) If I manage to return in July, not suffer damage again and return in September, it would be a very happy year for me”, said the Brit.
As for possible rivals, 'MVP' has a few names in mind, including the Brazilian Vincent Luque.
“A guy like Ian Gary It would be a fun fight, I think. Stylistically, it would be very explosive standing up. Vincent Luque It's another good fight. He’s a very explosive guy and very powerful on his feet too”, said the fighter.
Another name that caught the attention of Michael Page was that of Jack Della Maddalena, an Australian sensation who secured a place in the top 5 welterweight division when he knocked out the Brazilian Gilbert Durinho No. UFC 299.
“I had seen him before, but I was very impressed with how he (Della Maddalena) handled such an incredible fighter as Gilbert Burns. I think Gilbert made some silly mistakes, but Della Maddalena did really well. He seems like a difficult person to kill in every position. He is definitely a dangerous opponent and would be another exciting fight,” he concluded.
