The former champion of UFC Fabricio Werdum he didn't believe the values disclosed by Kleber Bambam about his fight with Acelino Popó Freitas and even called him a “little kid” for the way he performed in the ring. The duel only lasted 36 seconds, with a devastating knockout from the four-time world champion over the newcomer.

However, these statements did not convince Werdum, who is one of the biggest names in Brazilian and world MMA. In an interview with the Combate channel, Werdum questioned the veracity of the numbers presented by Bambam and harshly criticized him for his attitude in the fight.

“Bambam said it, he promoted it cool. But then you act like that, turn your back and look at the judge: 'okay, it's over, right'. It was ridiculous. Of course, Popó is within his rights, but Bambam made such a big deal after everything he said, which would shock the world. So he takes it, stands up and gets really beaten, like a man. Not even a 'little kid' like he was”, said Werdum.

“Vai Cavalo”, as he is known, also doubted that Bambam had made so much money and that he had been sponsored by Nike. For him, the ex-BBB lied to value his pass and promote himself, but ended up getting burned by the public and the market.

“What he did was shameful. He did the cool promotion, then said he won R$5 or 6 million. He didn't win shit. He won nothing. It is not how it works. The reality is different. He says he was sponsored by Nike. Who is BamBam for Nike to sponsor? There is no such thing,” he stated.
