Francis Ngannou responds to Jon Jones' challenge and surprises when assessing the MMA legend's condition

After having the name mentioned by Jon Jones on the list of possible rivals for the future, Francis Ngannou countered the legend's attack. Present in the 'PFL x Bellator', the former UFC fighter surprised when evaluating the chances of holding a superfight against the North American. Both even negotiated a clash, when the French-Cameroonian was still representing Ultimate.

"Only in your dreams. You are very fat,” said Ngannou, in the presence of Jones, during the live broadcast.

Hired by the PFL last season, Francis remains without a date or opponent for his debut with the organization. Today, the athlete dedicates his training to boxing performances.

At the end of 2023, the French-Cameroonian shocked the world by fighting on equal terms against the world champion Tyson Fury. Even though he was defeated, the 'giant' was included in the heavyweight rankings by the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

New sensation of the 'noble art', Ngannou is scheduled to return to the ring. In March, the former UFC fighter will face Anthony Joshua, former world boxing champion.

Discarded by Francis, Jon Jones, today, leads the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg) of Ultimate. The American is currently recovering from a serious shoulder injury suffered at the end of last season.
