Amid Brazilians at UFC 300, Charles do Bronx opens up about the chance to share a card with Alex Poatan

The organization's star comments on the chance to promote the event for the first time with another reference in his country's sport

One of the great attractions of UFC 300, Charles of the Bronx talked about the opportunity to share the card with Alex Poatán. In an interview with 'ESPN', the lightweight star (up to 70,3kg.) commented on the chance of, for the first time, participating in the same event with another Brazilian reference in MMA.

“There are a lot of Brazilians on this card. This is very important for all of us. Always be on top. I'm happy that Poatan is doing the main fight. I'm going to be there, I'm going to make it happen, with a 'knockout'”, said Do Bronx.

On April 13, Charles will complete his first challenge of the 2024 season. The Brazilian faces Arman Tsarukyan and seeks to qualify for a new title fight in the category he led between 2021 and 2022.

Protagonist in the event, Poatan also has a major confrontation. The light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) seeks success in his first title defense and shares the octagon with Jamahal hill.


In addition to Do Bronx and Alex, Brazil will have four more representatives. Deiveson Figueiredo measure forces with cody garbrandt, Diego lopes faces Sodiq Yusuf e Jessica Pile Driver will be rival of Marina Rodriguez in a challenge between Brazilians.
