Challenger for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg) in UFC 300, Jamahal hill admitted not to fear the champion's brute strength Alex Poatán. On his YouTube channel, the American assured that he will not use wrestling and will face the kickboxing legend on his feet. The fight takes place on April 13, in Las Vegas (USA).
“Mark my words: I don’t intend to take him to the ground. I'm not going to wrestle with him. My plan is to go there and, in the place where you consider him a God, just because he kickedboxed, and I didn't compete in kickboxing. This is a completely different sport. Kickboxing is kickboxing and MMA is MMA. I have been practicing MMA my entire life. When I fight him, standing up, I'm going to knock him out. When I get it, I'm going to rub it in each of your faces. I'm not going to rub it in Alex's face, because he's a good person. But to each and every one of you who are being disrespectful,” Hill said.
