After much speculation and behind-the-scenes information, Ultimate finally confirmed its return to Brazil. On its social networks, the organization announced that the octagon will land again in Rio de Janeiro on May 04th, for the UFC 301. The show will be held at Rioarena, in Barra da Tijuca and there is no official fight yet.

Rio was the stage for historic UFC events and hosted some of the organization's biggest stars, such as Anderson Silva, Ronda Rousey, José Aldo e Amanda nunes. O UFC 301 It will be the first UFC event in Brazil in 2024 and expectations are high. We expect a packed Rioarena in May”, said UFC Senior Vice President in Brazil, Eduardo Galetti.
Ultimate's last visit to Rio de Janeiro took place in January 2023, at UFC 283. In the main fights, Jamahal hill ran over Glover Teixeira and won the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg) and the Mexican Brandon Moreno beat the Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo due to medical interruption and won the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg).
