“It will be my first 'main event'. I've already done 'co-main', but it will be my first main event. Wow, I was happy. I signed in 2017 with the UFC and fought for the first time in 2019. Definitely (making a main fight was a goal). Seeing my photo on the poster, I can't wait. I can't even imagine what art will be like. I think it was at the right time. There was time for me to do the first fights at the beginning, then be (part of) the main card, then do the 'co-main event'. Everything is going smoothly, calmly, getting used to it, adapting to the cameras, pressure, interviews. It was all at the right time. Main event against Rose, who was already champion. It’s going to be a fight that, wow, I’m very happy to be doing,” said Ribas.
