Larissa Pacheco admits frustration with the PFL, but campaigns for a duel of champions against Cris Cyborg

Two-time PFL champion, Larissa Pacheco regretted being left out of the 'PFL vs. Bellator' scheduled for February in Saudi Arabia

The recent announcement of the hiring of Kayla harrison by the UFC once and for all paved the way for Larissa pacheco in front Chris Cyborg in a duel between PFL and Bellator champions, respectively. In Larissa's opinion, however, this should have been the plan from the beginning.

In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', Larissa pacheco admitted frustration with the PFL for trying to negotiate a duel between Harrison and Cyborg when she was the organization's champion. The Brazilian also regretted being left out of the 'PFL vs. Bellator' scheduled for February 24th, in Saudi Arabia.

“I was definitely frustrated. I missed the holidays. Time is money. I continued working. I had already worked all year to show what I was capable of, to show my work and I did everything they asked me to do. I don't think the communication was good, but I'm still working. I'm here, focused and we have to move forward. (…) It was already supposed to happen (the fight against Cyborg). I won the tournament twice. I'm the champion. The deal was to be champions against champions. I think all of this just made things happen the way they should, because I'm a champion and it's right for champions to face champions”, said the woman from Pará.

Larissa pacheco analyzed what a possible duel against Chris Cyborg and guaranteed that it would please the fans.

“She’s a great striker. I think I'm a little more versatile. A fight between us will be a war. It could end in the first round or become a five-round war. Our styles are similar. I think it's a good marriage. She's a great striker and I'm a more complete fighter. In a fight like this, anything can happen”, analyzed Larissa.

Lastly, Larissa pacheco expressed her desire to establish her name as one of the greatest fighters in history, alongside the Brazilian duo Amanda nunes e Chris Cyborg.
