the return of Khabib Nurmagomedov ao UFC is one of the most talked about topics among MMA fans. The former lightweight champion, who announced his retirement in October 2020 after winning Justin gaethje, would have returned to training with his former coach, Javier Mendez, sparking rumors that he could face the current welterweight champion (up to 77kg.), Leon edwards, UFC 300, in April.

However, Mendez denied this possibility and stated that Khabib is dedicated to his family and his business. The leader of American Top Team (ATT) said in an interview with Helen Lee Sports that his pupil always goes to the gym, but that he only trains with him when he is preparing for a fight.
