Gilbert Durinho praises Sean Brady's performance at UFC Austin: 'Very impressed'

Representative of the welterweight elite (up to 77,1kg), the Brazilian Gilbert Durinho showed that he paid a lot of attention to the duel between Sean brady e Kelvin Gastelum, which took place last Saturday (02). The former challenger praised the performance of the category's promise and admitted that he was impressed with the way he beat the ex-TUF veteran.

“I was very, very impressed. We have a lot of friends in common, me and Sean brady, so I've heard that he's very, very good. After the first round, I saw that he took down Kelvin Gastelum so easy, I kind of predicted that he would take him down other times and that he will reach the top (of the division). I thought eventually Sean brady would cook it and get a finish at the end. But wow, I was impressed with the way Sean brady did”, said Durinho.

Number four in the welterweight rankings (up to 77,1kg), Durinho is recovering from a shoulder injury suffered during the defeat to Belal Muhammad | in April. At 37 years old, the Brazilian fighter has an MMA record of 22 triumphs and just six setbacks and has already beaten names like Demian Maia, Jorge masvidal e Stephen Thompson.
