Joy on one side, frustration on the other. A standout in the division for years, Font momentarily moves away from his dream of fighting for the title and suffers his fourth stumble in five challenges.

With your foot in the door

The fight started with Font taking the initiative with a right hand. Deiveson saved his attacks and waited for the best moment to attack. With just over a minute, the Brazilian managed a takedown, but Rob got up easily. The man from Pará moved around the Octagon and bet on a counterattack. Halfway through the stage, Figueiredo managed another fall, but the North American got back up. Almost in the final minute, it was Font's turn to attempt a takedown, but the man from Pará defended himself well. In the final minute, Font scored after a straight shot from the Brazilian. The 'God of War', however, did not get flustered and undermined his opponent with patience.

In the second round, Font was the first to attack, with a left jab. The American launched a low kick afterwards, but Deiveson shortened it and started trying for a takedown. Figueiredo pressed his opponent against the bars and had his attempts frustrated. Almost halfway through the stage, the confrontation remained balanced. In the final minute, the clash was 'back and forth'. The attacks launched by both did not go unanswered. Seconds before the bell sounded, Deiveson scared his opponent with a straight shot and a front kick.

The last round started with Figueiredo looking for a takedown early on. Font managed to defend himself and distanced himself from the Brazilian. With a minute gone by, Rob started to loosen up and attacked the Brazilian with jabs and straight shots. Afterwards, Font was surprised by a cross from the Brazilian. The North American swayed and started walking backwards. Figueiredo was cautious, but tried to make the most of the good moment. Halfway through the stage, Font seemed to have recovered and returned to scoring with jabs and straight shots. With three minutes gone, Deiveson managed to land a takedown and, on top, got the mount. Time passed and Figueiredo continued to control his rival. The fight ended with Deiveson in an advantageous position.
