Aware of the Brazilian's intentions, the North American recognizes that he is about to face a fighter hungry for victory and looking to get closer to possibly winning a second UFC title.
“This guy is a beast. He's been there for four, five years straight with Moreno. We know exactly what we're getting into. He is hungry. I'm sure he's tired of cutting weight too. Then he will be comfortable. He will feel like this is his weight class, his home. I’m going to prove him wrong”, declared Font during an interview with UFC.

By continuing his speech, Font saw a possible advantage in size and scope, but did not rule out the danger that the Brazilian would present.
“I feel like it’s definitely going to be a size advantage, a length advantage. He's still going to be a good-sized bantamweight. He's not a small guy. But he's obviously a little shorter. He's going to be a short, stocky guy who's introducing himself. I just have to pick my angles, find that chin, put it down and get that win,” she concluded.
