Larissa Pacheco and Renan Problema lead Brazil in the finals of million-dollar PFL tournaments this Friday

Lightweight seeks second championship, while 'giant' seeks unprecedented title in his career in the organization

This Friday (24), in Washington (USA), the finals of the PFL million-dollar tournaments will take place. With 12 fights scheduled, the event will present spectators with the champions in six categories, one of which is women's. In total, three athletes will represent Brazil in search of the belts and the dream check of US$1 million (around R$4,9 million).

The main fight marks the confrontation between Olivier Aubin-Mercier Clay Collard. The Canadian is looking for his second lightweight championship (up to 70,3kg).

Responsible for trying to 'spoil the party' for the Canadian, Clay Collard seeks his unprecedented title in the company. The veteran, who has also been in the UFC, beat three rivals this season and qualified for a title shot.

Renan Problema x Denis Goltsov – heavyweight

Inserted in the final with the punishment of his former executioner, Bruno Cappelozza, Renan Problem is close to the biggest challenge of his career. This Friday, the heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) will be able to join the list of millionaire fighters, in addition to wearing the belt of one of the biggest MMA organizations in the world.

Gabriel Braga x Jesus Pinedo – featherweight

This Friday, the fighter will face Impa Kasanganay, known worldwide for having suffered a historic knockout against Joaquin buckley, in the UFC, in 2020. In the PFL, however, the former Ultimate has a perfect trajectory. There were four positive results since his debut, with the right to fight in the final and compete for the dream million.

Kayla Harrison x Aspen Ladd

One of the biggest names in PFL history, Kayla harrison was absent from the lightweight tournament in the 2023 season, but will perform in the grand final. Two-time champion in the company, the fighter returns to competitions after a season of inactivity.

In the show, the combatant will measure strength with Aspen ladd, former Ultimate promise. The organization's icon tries to erase the defeat to Larissa pacheco last year, which represented the first defeat of the American's career.

Ray Cooper III x Derek Brunson

New PFL signing, Derek Brunson is ready for his first commitment with the organization's gloves. A UFC standout for years, the veteran chose to leave his 'old home' and begin his dream of winning his dream million in the following season.

The North American then takes his first step in the company at the event that closes the 2023 season. As an opponent for the 'welcome', Brunson will have Ray Cooper III, champion in the welterweight tournament (up to 77,1kg.) in the 2019 and 2021 seasons.
