The big moment has arrived. This Saturday (11), in New York (USA), the UFC 295. With 13 fights scheduled, the event features a light heavyweight (up to 93kg) title fight between Alex Poatán e Jiri Prochazka as a major attraction. The event also confirms the new interim heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg).
Former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg), Poatan has the chance to expand his legacy in Ultimate. Facing Prochazka, the São Paulo native seeks to join the select list of fighters who have won titles in different categories.
In the co-main fight, Sergei Pavlovich e Tom aspinall will compete against each other for the interim heavyweight title. The athletes took on the challenge after the serious injury suffered by Jon Jones.
Still in the second half of the card, a Brazilian clash promises to shake up spectators' spirits. Former strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg.), Jessica Pile Driver will face Mackenzie dern.
New favorite of the Tupiniquim fans, Diego lopes makes his third commitment in the 2023 season. Over the weekend, the featherweight faces pat sabatini.

1) The legacy of Alex Poatan

With six fights in Ultimate, Alex Poatán has the chance to expand his legacy in the organization. A year after winning the middleweight belt, the Brazilian returns to the stage where he shocked the world in the challenge against Israel adesanya and tries to repeat the feat.
Now, among the light heavyweights, the São Paulo native could make history in the UFC, if he beats Jiri Prochazka. If he wins, the Tupiniquim will join the list of fighters who have won titles in different divisions.
The challenge against the Czech marks the Brazilian's second fight in the light heavyweight division. In his debut in the category, the fighter beat the former group champion, Jan Balchowicz.

Although he has publicly declared that he does not face confrontation against Jiri Prochazka as revenge, the challenge must have a special flavor for the Brazilian. At the weekend, the Brazilian measures forces with the person responsible for dethroning Glover Teixeira in 2022.
protagonist in UFC 295, the São Paulo native tries to discount the mistake made by his mentor, who ended up being overcome by the Czech in a real battle last year. In the confrontation, the Minas Gerais native was submitted in the final seconds of the last round.

With the serious injury suffered by Jon Jones, current linear heavyweight champion, the UFC board promoted Sergei Pavlovich e Tom aspinall to fight for the interim heavyweight title. Promises of the division, the 'giants' will measure forces in a confrontation that could define the future of the group's absolute leader.
Famous for his knockout power, Pavlovich seeks to expand his good momentum in the category. On the other side, Aspinall tries to use his refined technique to nullify his opponent.

On the main card, Jessica Pile Driver holds her fifth fight in the 2023 season. Former strawweight champion, the Paraná native is trying to move away from her negative record.
Former leader of the group, Tupiniquim suffers three defeats in a row and measures strength with Mackenzie dern. The challenge could bring the winner closer to a title fight.

New favorite of the Brazilian fans, Diego lopes is back. The fighter is having his third fight with the organization's gloves and is trying to reach the mark of two consecutive victories.
Featherweight representative, the Tupiniquim faces pat sabatini in a confrontation that could bring the winner closer to a chance to face a member of the top 15 next. The confrontation opens the main card of the show.
