After a spectacular knockout at UFC São Paulo, Vitor Petrino asks for a ranked rival in his next appointment

One of the main prospects in Brazil today, the light heavyweight (up to 93kg) Victor Petrino delivered an exuberant performance at UFC Sao Paulo, which took place last Saturday (04). After knocking out Modest Bukauskas, the Brazilian fighter did not want to mention any specific name for his next commitment, but made a point of asking for a ranked rival.

“No (rival’s) name. But I want it now, for sure, I want a ranked guy. Wait for daddy Dana White to renew the contract, make a good offer. Everything will depend on what the proposal will be like. I'm there to fight, to face whoever, but everything is negotiable. I’m enjoying the process, that’s the most important thing,” Petrino told journalists present at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, after the UFC Sao Paulo.

Hired in 2022 after standing out on the reality show Contender Series, when he knocked out his compatriot Rodolfo Bellato, Petrino is undefeated in professional MMA with 10 consecutive victories. In the biggest MMA organization in the world, the Brazilian beat Anton Turkalj, Marcin Prachnio e Modest Bukauskas, respectively. At just 26 years old, Vitor has seven wins by knockout, one by submission and two by judge's decision.
