September was a month full of emotions and knockouts in the UFC, the largest MMA organization in the world. From Paris to Sydney, passing through Las Vegas, sports fans were able to watch great fights and impressive performances from some of today's best athletes.

O SUPER FIGHTS, now, remember the five most notable knockouts of the month, which showed the strength, technique and determination of the fighters.

Marina Rodriguez x Michelle Waterson-Gomez – UFC Vegas 79

Marina Rodriguez needed a victory to recover from the two consecutive defeats they suffered at the beginning of the year. And she did it in the best way possible: with a devastating technical knockout over the experienced Michelle Waterson-Gomez, no UFC Las Vegas 79.

The gaucho dominated the fight from the beginning, showing her superiority in striking and pressure. In the second round, she landed a series of punches and elbows that left the American unable to react. The referee interrupted the fight, giving the victory to Marina, who was once again among the best in the strawweight division (up to 52,1kg).

André Fialho x Tim Means – UFC Vegas 79

André Fialho had a difficult night at the same event, facing the veteran Tim means, in a fight valid for the welterweight category (up to 77kg.). The Portuguese, who was coming off three consecutive defeats, tried to impose his boxing game from the start, but found it difficult to deal with Means' size and versatility.

The North American used his movement and kicks well to keep his distance and attack the Portuguese. In the third round, Means landed a knee that knocked Fialho down. He still landed a few more strikes on the ground before the referee ended the fight.

Raul Rosas Jr. x Terrence Mitchell – Noche UFC

After disappointing and suffering the first defeat of his career in early 2023, Raúl Rosas Jr.. turned things around in style. Featured in Night UFC, held on September 16, in Las Vegas (USA), the Mexican put on a show in front of his fans and accepted the open fight against Terrence Mitchell.

Precise and aggressive, the 18-year-old overcame his rival with an overwhelming lightning knockout in the first minute of the clash. With a straight right, he took Mitchell to the canvas and landed two more punches before the referee intervened. With the victory, Rosas resumed his climb towards the top of the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg).

Ciryl Gane x Sergey Spivak – UFC Paris

About six months after the tough defeat to Jon Jones in a fight to unify the UFC heavyweight title (up to 120,2kg), Cyryl Gane put on a show again in the Octagon. Protagonist in UFC Paris, held on September 2nd, the Frenchman shone in front of his fans and made the commitment against the dangerous Sergey Spivak.

Precise, fast and forceful, the 'home athlete' settled the score against the Moldovan via technical knockout after a massacre in the second round. Gane landed a high kick that shook Spivak and followed with a barrage of punches until the referee stopped the fight. In addition to returning to the path of victory, the Frenchman reacquainted himself with a new opportunity to fight for the linear belt.

Tyson Pedro vs Anton Turkalj – UFC 293

O UFC 293, held on September 9th in Sydney, Australia, had a standout moment for the light heavyweight (up to 93kg.) Tyson Peter. The Australian defeated the Swede Anton Turkalj by knockout in the first round, after a frank exchange and a well-aimed punch that took his opponent to the canvas.

Pedro landed a straight right that made Turkalj fall on his back. He still tried to get up, but the referee had already ended the fight.
