The rivalry between the Fabricio Werdum e Sean Strickland added another chapter this week. In his podcast “Nem Me Viu”, the Brazilian spared no criticism of the North American, who beat Israel Adesanya and became middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg.).

The Brazilian, who recently lost to Junior Cigano in a bare-knuckle fight for Gamebred Bareknuckle, he recalled the training he had with Strickland at the Kings MMA gym and stated that his rival is a “dog ass” and a “shit”.

“This guy is a dog ass. I've already kicked his ass several times. He didn't want to train with me, he wanted to choose training. There is no such thing. What's the name of this piece of shit? Strickland. I kicked him in the ass, he complained, and I kicked him again,” Werdum said on the podcast.

Rafael Cordeiro agrees with Werdum

Werdum's statement was endorsed by Rafael Cordeiro, leader of Kings MMA and trainer of the former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg.) UFC. In an interview with Portal do Vale Tudo, Cordeiro explained that Strickland is not welcome on the team because of his arrogant and disrespectful attitude towards his training companions.

“He would go straight there, but he has a bad spirit. When he starts training, he starts cursing the guy. He does exactly what he does in the fight. I said there were children and we didn't use the type of vocabulary on the mat. He understood, he did some quiet training. But, when I traveled one day, it started (with the verbal insults) again and I said it couldn't continue”, revealed Cordeiro.
