Former world boxing champion Acelino Popó Freitas once again provoked the former UFC champion José Aldo and said again that he would accept to face him in a boxing match.

In an interview with the Ag Fight website, Popó stated that Aldo is an “interesting name” for Brazilian boxing, but criticized his performance in recent fights.

"Horrible. In the penultimate fight, he fought a guy who had lost three times and was unable to knock him out. In his last fight too, people only criticized him. I have nothing to talk about. If he accepts, train and beat him. It's an interesting name. It just depends on him”, declared Popó.

The multi-time boxing champion has provoked ex-BBB Kléber Bambam, who also appears as one of the alternatives.
